PURPOSE: A method for notifying of a call failure in a mobile communication terminal is provided to display a cause of failure on a screen when a call connection fails with regards to a call received from other party, so that a user can cope with the cause of a failure. CONSTITUTION: A system decides whether a call is received from a base station. The system transmits a call response message to the base station. The system decides whether the call fails after transmitting the call response message. If so, the system displays the call failure on a screen, and returns to a call waiting state. The step of deciding the call failure refers to a case when a release command is received from the base station or the base station does not respond to the message within a predetermined time after transmitting the call response message. |
