<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air intake device of an engine for improving installation labor and installation cost. <P>SOLUTION: In this air intake device of the engine, a first gasket 4, an intake air heater 5, a second gasket 6, and an intake air introducing cover 8 having an intake air introducing part 7 are superposed in order on an intake air inlet flange 3 for surrounding an intake air inlet 2 of an air intake pipe 1; an installation bolt 8a is penetrated up to the intake air inlet flange 3 from the intake air introducing cover 8; a laminate is fastened and fixed to the intake air inlet flange 3 up to the first gasket 4 from the intake air introducing cover 8 by this installation bolt 8a; and power supply of the intake air heater 5 is performed via a circuit passing through the intake air inlet flange 3. The second gasket 6 is composed of an electric conductor, and power supply between the intake air heater 5 and the intake air inlet flange 3 is performed via the second gasket 6. Labor is not required for installing the air intake device by the extent of requiring no connection of the intake air heater 5 and the intake air inlet flange 3 by a pin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
