<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current control circuit device that maintains an output voltage level more stably while deterring a power circuit from increasing in cost and being large-sized, and an EL display device equipped with the current control circuit device. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 1 of the EL display device 13 estimates an actual current consumption value by a load such as an EL display 3 according to data for image display and performs control for supplying a current corresponding to the difference between the estimated current consumption value and a reference current value IS to a circuit ground through a current limiting resistance and a transistor of a current consumption circuit 7 when the estimated current consumption value is smaller than the reference current value IS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
