<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reproducibility of a sample analysis in an analysis tool having a channel for moving samples. <P>SOLUTION: In the analysis tool X1 having a vent hole, where the channel 4 for moving a sample B along a specific direction is set onto a substrate 1, the channel 4 has specific dimensions in the width direction orthogonally crossing a specific direction in a view in the plate thickness direction of the substrate, and an exhaust vent 31 for discharging gas inside the channel 4 is provided. In the analysis tool X1, an edge 31a of the exhaust vent 31 is set to be in a straight line shape extended in the width direction or nearly in the width direction at a part positioned at the upstream side in the traveling direction of the sample B.
