PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink discharge structure which prevents an ink absorbing member from floating to contact a printing object, and an inkjet type recording device. SOLUTION: The ink discharge structure 11 has a dented structure 33 which supports the printing object 15 and flows a liquid such as ink not adhered to the printing object 15 into the supporting face side. The ink discharge structure 11 includes a platen 30 with through holes 43 formed at the dented structure 33, and a liquid absorbing structure 50 which is fitted in the dented structure 33 and receives to stop the liquid such as ink droplets from an inkjet head 16. Partitioning members 39a and 39b for partitioning the liquid absorbing structure 50 fitted in the dented structure 33 are set at the platen 30. Moreover, the liquid absorbing structure 50 has tongue piece parts 63 to be inserted in the through holes 43, and slits 64 and 73 are provided corresponding to positions where the partitioning members 39a and 39b are formed at the time when the liquid absorbing structure 50 is fitted into the dented structure 33.
