PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for flexibly changing a database and editing procedures for data to be stored in the database on a server side. SOLUTION: An information providing server 100 provides information to a client terminal 200 having an editing means 92. This server 100 includes an information storage part 21 for storing the information to be provided; an editing item storing part 4 for storing a plurality of extracting conditions to define conditions to extract as extracted information from the information to be provided, the editing procedures to define the procedures to edit the extracted information by the editing means 92 and editing item names to associate the extracting conditions with the editing procedures; an editing item acquiring part 31 for accepting one of the editing item name selected from a plurality of editing item names from the client terminal 200 and acquiring the extracting conditions and editing procedures associated with one of the item names; an information extracting part 32 for extracting the extracted information from the storage part 21 by using the extracting conditions; and an information transmitting part 33 for transmitting the extracted information and the editing procedures to the client terminal 200.
