PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosure of an electronic component that generates no contact failure and is superior in noise shielding. SOLUTION: A cover 1 of the enclosure of an electronic component is externally engaged with a base member 3, and in a ventilating hole 4 provided in the cover 1, a clipping member 5 is engaged in a manner to pinch the engaging part 1a of the cover 1 and the engaging part 3a of the base member 3, thereby joining the cover 1 and the base member 3.
