PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector increasing the holding force strength of contact. SOLUTION: A contact part 13 of the contact 11 has first and second side wall parts 13a, 13b facing a pair of side wall surfaces of a contact housing part 33 of an insulator 31, and a locking part 13e extending from the first side wall part 13a so as to engage with an insulator lance 35 of the insulator 31, the locking part 13e is faced to a lance locking part 35a of the insulator lance 35, and the second side wall part 13b has a locking holding part 15f holding the extending end of the locking part 13e.
