PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high reliability disk sticking device which can form a vacuum space between a disk substrate and a protecting sheet by a simple device, which can surely eliminate air bubbles, and further provide a disk sticking method. SOLUTION: This disk sticking device is a device for sticking a protecting sheet 4 onto a recording face formed on one surface of a disk substrate 2 via an adhesive agent. The device is constituted of a stage 5 on which the phase of the substrate 2 opposite to the recording face is placed, a pressing pad 8 for sticking the protecting sheet 4 onto the disk substrate 2 from the upper part of the protecting sheet 4, an evacuation means 11 in which the outer periphery of the disk substrate 2 and the protecting sheet 4 are held by a rubber ring 12 having slit grooves 13, the vacuum space is generated between the disk substrate 2 and the protecting sheet 4 via an evacuation path formed in the rubber ring 12, and which sucks and eliminates the air bubbles from the outer periphery of the disk.
