PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image information reader realizing the facilitation of assembling work and maintenance work, the reduction of cost and the simplification of its configuration, and having high reliability. SOLUTION: One end 133 of an optical fiber 132 is inserted in the hole part 110 of a rotatable mirror mount 104 to which a condensing mirror 108 is attached and the other end 140 of the optical fiber 132 is disposed at the side part of the mirror mount 104. Meanwhile, an exciting light detection sensor 150 is disposed at the side part of the mirror mount 104 in a non-contact state so as to be opposed to the other end 140 of the optical fiber 132.
