PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door guard capable of increasing earth resisting performance. SOLUTION: The door guard is equipped with an arm locking tool 4 mounted to a door frame B and an arm 3 mounted so as to pivot on a door A in the approximately horizontal direction, and when the door is opened in a state to set the arm 3 in a guard position rotating at a predetermined angle on the arm locking tool 4 side from a usual position, a locking claw 41 of the arm locking tool 4 is relatively moved toward the front end side of the arm while engaging the arm 3 in order to prevent it from being returned to the usual position, and the door guard is so constituted that the locking claw 41 is abutted on a stopper section 34 of the arm 3 to prevent the door from being opened beyond the limited position. The door guard is so formed that the arm engaging tool 4 and the arm 3 can not be overlapped up and down when the arm 3 is set in the guard position and that the basic end section side of the arm 3 can avoid the arm locking tool 4 to the center side of the opening and closing of the door A in the guard position.
