PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester decorative material for plywood and a manufacturing method thereof which can respond to every quadratic surface. SOLUTION: The polyester decorative material 31 consists of a base 9 constituted of paper for impregnation, a resin layer 11 with which the surface side of the base is impregnated and a part of which is exposed on the surface and leveled evenly like a plane and an adhesive layer 7 with which the rear side of the base is impregnated and a part of which is exposed on the rear side and leveled evenly like a plane. The material is stuck to a molding plate 1 having a plane 32b with a molding adhesive 3a by the medium of a double-sided release paper 5. The manufacturing method comprises a first process wherein an adhesive 7a is given to one side of the double-sided release paper and then put in a dry state and the paper is stuck to the base, a second process wherein a molding adhesive is given to one side of process paper 15 and then put in a dry state and the molding adhesive is transferred onto the molding plate 1 to be formed into a molding adhesive layer 3, a third process wherein a process item of the first process is stuck on the molding adhesive layer with the base positioned on the upper side and a fourth process wherein a polyester resin in a molten state is leveled evenly on the base and then cured.
