PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent vibration transmission from a platen to a frame at a low cost, and to highly precisely secure an interval between a printing head and the platen. SOLUTION: The platen 50 is supported by a flange part 46 of a sub frame via an elastic block 55 joined by burning. In the elastic block, an insert 60 with a female screw is embedded in a block body 57 of an elastic material, and the insert is separated from a joining face between the block body and the platen. The elastic block 55 is fixed to the sub frame by butting a lower end face of the insert 60 against the flange part 46 and coupling by a fixing screw 58. At the same time, the insert 60 is not directly connected with the platen 50. Therefore, the vibration of the platen 50 is damped by the elastic block 55, thereby eliminating generation of a large printing sound. Since the block body 57 is prevented from being deflected due to tightening of the fixing screw 58, the interval between the printing head 76 and the platen 50 is prevented from varying.
