PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jet injection apparatus, preventing the danger due to wrong operation, and keeping a distance from an object constant to perform high-grade and high-efficient work in water jet work or the like. SOLUTION: This small-sized water jet injection apparatus includes: a nozzle 4 for injecting high pressure fluid supplied from a high pressure fluid generating means as a linear jet stream; and a hand switch 9 for turning on and off injection of a jet stream, which are provided on the body. The apparatus further includes: an injection guide piece 13 brought into contact with the vicinity of a portion of an object to be cut to which the linear jet stream is injected to keep the distance between the nozzle tip and the portion of the object to be cut constant; and a safety switch 12 for shutting off the injection of the jet stream when the installation of the injection guide piece on the portion of the object to be cut is separated.
