PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tiltable table apparatus, in which a tilting angle of the table can be exactly detected. SOLUTION: The tiltable table apparatus comprises a driving shaft 3 rotatably supported with respect to a fixed frame 2, a table frame 6 having a table 4 for mounting a workpiece, a first connecting member 5 for connecting the driving shaft 3 to the table frame 6, and a tilting angle detecting device 7 for detecting the tilting angle of the table frame 6. The tilting angle detecting device 7 is composed of a detecting shaft 28 which can rotate about the same axis as the driving shaft 3, a second connecting member 27 which is separated from the first connecting member 5 and connects the table frame 6 to the detecting shaft 28, and a detecting section 29 for detecting the rotated angle of the detecting shaft 28 with respect to the fixed frame 2.
