PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the transport of each tape by applying uniform tension to two or more tapes on the downstream side of a slitter. SOLUTION: A shaft 86 of an individual guide roller 84 is driven to rotate in the direction of transporting a magnetic tape 26 by a motor 92, and the rotational frequency of the shaft is controlled by a control device 94 to generate the torque in the direction of transporting the magnetic tape 26 in a roller drum part 88.
