The clutch/brake has a drive element (1) with permanent magnets (5), and a take-off element (4) connected to it, and separated from it via a ring air gap (47).The take-off element has a hysteresis part (6). The part and the magnets are positioned axially next to the roller bearing (33). The take-off element consists of flange (26), support (16), and an optional adapter (12). The part consists of one ring with radial spaces, or several coaxial rings (9) with contacting end faces (10) and end-sided spaces (11). The spaces contain air or an electrically insulating material.
