<p>A roll dispenser (1) comprising a stand (2, 5) arranged to receive thereon a roll (4) to be dispensed, in generally co-axial relationship therewith, and an operating member (10, 10') which is mounted to the stand (2, 5), preferably at the upper region thereof, and which is reciprocably movable between respective first, second and third positions. Wherein the member in its first position, permits a roll (4) to be dispensed to be received upon the stand (2, 5), in its second position, allows a so-received roll (4) to be rotated with respect to the stand (2, 5) and hence dispensed and in its third position, engages a so-received roll (4) to be dispensed to prevent rotation thereof with respect to the stand (2, 5).</p> |
