<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fuel injection failure caused by a vapor lock generated in a pipe connected to a fuel injection valve for intake port injection with a simple constitution in a fuel injector having a fuel injection valve for cylinder injection and the fuel injection valve for the intake port injection. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel injector has a first pipe 8 arranged between a fuel tank 12 and a delivery pipe 4 for the intake port injection, and provided with a low pressure fuel pump 11 for supplying fuel stored in the fuel tank 12 toward the delivery pipe 4 for the intake port injection, and a second pipe 6 arranged between the delivery pipe 4 for the intake port injection and a delivery pipe 5 for the cylinder injection, and provided with a high pressure fuel pump 7 for supplying the fuel supplied to the delivery pipe 4 for the intake port injection to the delivery pipe 5 for the cylinder injection, and is constituted so as to supply the fuel supplied from the fuel tank 12 to the delivery pipe 4 for the intake port injection without being directly supplied to the delivery pipe 5 for the cylinder injection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
