<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet which forms an image with a feel of depth by increasing the degree of specular reflection of a support itself and thereby, enhancing sharpness (resolving degree) and brightness (light perception) and shows improved texture resistance to light. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet recording sheet has a coloring material receiving layer formed on a support formed of a paper base material, on both surfaces of which a resin-coated paper with a resin layer is used.
