<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for a specified user to surely take only requested prints in the case of a secrecy demand output, thereby preventing the user from taking someone's prints outputted right before that. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an image bundle accumulation function which stores a bundle of images; a user identifying function which identifies a specific user; a printing permission function which allows printing only by the specific user identified for each bundle of images; and a paper presence/absence detection function which detects the presence or absence of paper on a paper ejection tray. In the event that absence of paper on the paper ejection tray to which prints are to be outputted is not detected when the printing permission function is performed to output the prints, the execution of the user identifying function is prohibited.
