<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for efficiently managing a vending machine from a remote place by allowing a management center to normally recognize the stock state of products in the machine, the state of sale proceeds, and the state of destruction by a defect or robbery, etc. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer in the vending machine normally recognizes a stock quantity by product in the machine, the sale proceeds, and presence of change, by performing an arithmetic processing, and also normally grasps presence of destruction by the defect or robbery. The information are transmitted from a radio transceiver arranged in the vending machine in response to a request from the management center.
