<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an appropriate process of issuing a business card when dealing with a visitor when a person responsible is out. <P>SOLUTION: This method executes a step in which, when a request to output data on the business card of the visited person is received from the visitor, either the reading of the visitor's business card or the input of the business card data is urged to store the visitor's business card data in a storage device, and a step in which, when the data on the business card of the visited person are determined to be capable of being output according to the visitor's business card data, the business card data of the visited person are output. The business card can thus be either issued or not issued according to the visitor's attributes. When the business card data of the visited person are output, a step for reporting it to the visited person is further executed.
