<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for a carbonization treatment designed to prevent a carbonized product obtained by the carbonization treatment of sewage sludge from starting burning by self-heating, etc., during storage, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for the carbonization treatment is equipped with a carbonization furnace having a cylindrical retort 22 as a dry distillation treating container in the interior and composed so as to introduce organic material-containing sludge from an inlet on one end side in the shaft direction into the retort 22, move the sludge in the retort 22, carbonize the sludge under heating and discharge the carbonized material from an outlet 21. The apparatus for the carbonization treatment is designed to form a part on the outlet side of the retort 22 as a stabilizing zone C and carry out a noncombustion oxidizing treatment of the carbonized material of the sludge reaching the zone under low-oxygen conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
