PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the holding structure of fireproof glass for positively holding a glass end part when the fireproof glass is softened by a fire and shrink. SOLUTION: The fireproof glass 20 itself is softened with heat in a fire, and a press-engaging end 53a of a plate spring piece 50 bites into the surface of the glass 20. With the shrinkage of the glass 20 to the center of the glass by softening, the plate spring piece 50 is elastically deformed toward the center of the glass in the state of the press-engaging end 53a biting into the glass surface, and the peripheral part of the fireproof glass 20 is positively pressed and moved toward an airtight material 18 to maintain the pressed and held state of the peripheral part of the glass 20.
