PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil excavating tool effectively executable in a wide range of soil including soil hard to excavate by a conventional technology. SOLUTION: This soil excavating tool 1 has a shaft body 4, a spiral blade 5 provided around the shaft body 4, and a plurality of soil cutting claws 9 provided at the outer peripheral part of the spiral blade 5. Excavating capacity can thereby be improved by the plurality of soil cutting claws 9 provided at the outer peripheral part of the spiral blade 5, and soil in a mud stone layer or soil mixed with cobble stones can be excavated in a short time.
