<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an inkjet recording sheet having high productivity in particular, high glossiness, a large ink absorption capacity and free from cracks and coating streaks on a coating surface, and the inkjet recording sheet manufactured by the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for an inkjet recording sheet having on a support at least one layer of an ink accepting layer, at least one layer of the ink accepting layer contains fine particles obtained by grinding/dispersing pigment particles, a binder and a dispersant.
