<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating lamp, effectively lighting walkers at night by using electromotive force generated by a solar cell in the day time and requiring low installation and maintenance cost. <P>SOLUTION: The illuminating lamp device is installed outdoor for lighting a road. The device comprises a solar cell 5 disposed so as to receive the sun light, an electric accumulating body 25 for accumulating the electromotive force of the solar cell 5, a plurality of light emitting diodes 7 for emitting light with the electric power supplied by the electric accumulating body 25, a human body detector 26 for detecting the approach of a human to generate a detection signal, and a day night determination circuit 21 for determining day or night. A control circuit 20 controls to allow a part of light emitting diodes 7a out of the plurality of light emitting diodes 7 to emit light in normal operation at night determined by the day night determination circuit 21, and all of the plurality of light emitting diodes 7 to emit light if the human body detector 26 detects a human at night. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
