<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording device capable of efficiently managing recorded tracks and reducing operation load of a user and to provide an information imparting method. <P>SOLUTION: If a command of group registration exists during recording of one track, group information is imparted to the track.
