<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device capable of molding a lip section and a fixed seal part at once, and directly caulking and fixing the device by improving fixing force while preventing leakage. <P>SOLUTION: A metal ring 5 is provided with a groove 6 for connecting a first lip 3a to a projection 4, and a metal ring surface is exposed on an anti-sealing object side face of the metal ring 5. While the outer peripheral surface and part of a sealing object side face of the metal ring 5 are brought into contact with an outer cylinder 11 and a rod guide 12, caulking is performed so that the terminal 11a of the outer cylinder 11 abuts on an exposed part of the metal ring surface of the anti-sealing object side face of the metal ring 5 to fix a seal body 2 to the outer cylinder 11 and rod guide 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
