<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article confirmation device and a shopping system using the same which enable a purchase wisher to confirm a color and an image of an article in the environment of his/her choice on a display device in mail-order sales. <P>SOLUTION: A color patch is photographed by a fluorescent light 101 and detection data of color components are generated. A color difference is calculated from the detection data and a profile by standard lights D50 and 100, and distortion data of the fluorescent light 101 are generated. By the same procedure, distortion data of an incandescent light 102 and a sunshine 103 are generated. The generated distortion data are stored in a storage device 20 as characteristic data by a light source. Photography data of an article inputted to the article confirmation device are converted by property data of a desired light source read from the characteristic data by the light source stored in the storage device 20 and are displayed to the display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
