PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric resonant component having a metal cover with precision for preventing radio wave leakage and improving an attenuation characteristic. SOLUTION: The dielectric resonant component includes a dielectric block 1 having a first face and a second face disposed mutually oppositely, in which a plurality of resonators are formed; and a metal cover 7. One face of the metal cover 7 is made to contact to the outer face of the dielectric block 1, which is disposed in parallel with a through hole forming each resonator, and on which input and output electrodes are not formed; and the other face of the metal cover 7 covers the aforementioned first face. On the metal cover 7, protrusions 8 contacting to the first face are formed, such that the aforementioned other face of the metal cover 7 covering the first face keeps a predetermined gap with the first face.
