PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for controlling an illegal parking capable of facilitating the specification of a violating vehicle necessary for control of a vehicle which violates parking regulations and tracking and cracking down on the vehicle even after it run away. SOLUTION: The violating vehicle C is remotely monitored by an imaging means 11 and specified by image processing by an image processing means 12. Thereafter, the violence content of the vehicle C is recorded in a recording means 13, and this violence content is transmitted by a radio transmitting means 14. A monitoring person present in a no-parking zone receives it by a radio receiving means 15 and records it in a radio IC chip 16. The radio IC chip 16 is mounted on the violating vehicle C so that it can be tracked and cracked down. Accordingly, since the specified violating vehicle C can be tracked by the radio chip 16 and cracked down, control of a violating vehicle which run away can be performed without a sense of unfairness.
