PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control system capable of purifying component of hazardous gas in exhaust gas of an auxiliary engine, and suppressing deterioration of the exhaust emission. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas emission control system 1A is equipped with a main engine 5 for vehicle traveling, a sub engine 6 having a displacement smaller than that of the main engine, exhaust pipes 260, 262 having a junction portion 264 joining together the exhaust gas discharged from the main engine 5 and the exhaust gas discharged from the sub engine 6, and an exhaust emission purifying catalyst 4 purifying the exhaust gas joined at the junction portion 264.
