PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary press-in steel pipe pile having a vane with a large diameter, which can be installed smoothly and produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: The steel pile is provided with a spiral impeller vane. The steel pipe pile with the vane rotated and pressed into the ground, whose tip end is open, is provided with sediment blocking expediting projections inside the steel pipe in the area from the tip end to the depth of approximately 0.5 to 3 times diameter of the steel pipe.
