PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment ring which can easily be assembled, with respect to the segment ring for the lining of a tunnel in the construction of an underground-laid article by a shielding method. SOLUTION: The segment ring is formed by joining and integrating a plurality of segments by prestressing consisting of the hardened body of a blend comprising: (A) 100 pts.mass cement having a Blaine specific surface area of 2,500 to 5,000 cm<SP>2</SP>/g; (B) 10 to 40 pts. mass fine particles having a BET (Brunauer-Emett-Teller) specific surface area of 5 to 25m<SP>2</SP>/g; (C) 15 to 55 pts.mass inorganic particles having a Blaine specific surface area of 2,500 to 30,000 cm<SP>2</SP>/g, and also having a Blaine specific surface area larger than that of the cement; (D) a water reducing agent; and (E) water. Preferably, the inorganic particles (C) consist of 10 to 50 pts.mass inorganic particles A having a Blaine specific surface area of 5,000 to 30,000 cm<SP>2</SP>/g and 5 to 35 pts.mass inorganic particles B having a Blaine specific surface area of 2,500 to 5,000 cm<SP>2</SP>/g. The blend may contain: (F) fine aggregate with a particle diameter of≤2 mm; and (G) one or more kinds of fibers selected from the group consisting of metallic fibers, organic fibers and carbon fibers.
