PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device capable of securely preventing the occurrence of jamming due to an object adhered to a paper and preventing adhesion of the object to a paper fed later again. SOLUTION: This paper feeding device is constituted to convey a paper through a paper conveyance passage 5 and is provided with a first cleaning part 12 and a second cleaning part 13 provided on both sides across a track for paper in the paper conveyance passage 5 to recover the object adhered to the paper and an adhered object recovery part 14 recovering the adhered object to be removed. Consequently, it is possible to recover the adhered object such as dust and sand on both side faces of the paper to be fed so that dirt on a surface of a conveyance roller 11 is prevented and the occurrence of jamming due to the adhered object is securely prevented. Since the adhered object removed from the paper is recovered by the adhered object recovery part 14, the adhered object does not remain in the paper conveyance passage 5 to prevent its adhesion to the paper to be fed/conveyed later again.
