PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake squeal control device capable of enforcing a specified control for reducing brake squeal by a will of a driver and individually setting a squeal control condition for starting squeal reduction to conform to a request of the driver. SOLUTION: In this brake squeal control device, signals from wheel speed sensors 12 (12a to 12d) for showing traveling states, a hydraulic pressure sensor 11 of a hydraulic pressure circuit for showing a braking state, a cabin temperature sensor 13 for showing a temperature state, an outside air temperature sensor 14 and a manual switch 15 operated by the will of the driver are transmitted to a control circuit 20. Conditions when generating squeal to be reduced or extinguished by the will of the driver by an operation of the manual switch 15 are stored in a control circuit 20. An automatic squeal control is performed by subsequently detecting the conditions at the time of the generation if fixed data becomes complete. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
