PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering angle sensor 1 capable of resetting by one rotation at the maximum even if steering rotation is on the position at any times of rotations. SOLUTION: In this steering angle sensor 1, slits 211 to the number of 180 are provided on the circumference of a rotor plate 21, and a slit 212 is provided on the circumference thereof having different diameter from the slits 211, and light emitting parts 83, 84 and photo-sensors 81, 82 are provided so as to output an angle signal/reference signal by detecting light hit onto the circumference of a rotator where the slits 211, 212 are positioned, and a CPU 9 for calculating a steering angle from the angle signal and the reference signal is provided. A moving plate 4 engaged with a screw part 22 whose pushing pressure is changed by the steering rotation is provided, and a pressure-sensitive sensor 6 for outputting a pressure signal corresponding to the pressure is provided on a pushing pressure part.
