PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger involving less pressure loss and capable of suppressing a secular change of the heat conducting performance resulting from a deposition of dust, generation of frosting, etc. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger is equipped with a plurality of flat plate fins 10 arranged parallel at certain intervals and a heat conduction pipe 20 through which a refrigerant passes upon penetrating the fins 10, wherein heat exchange is performed between the fins 10 and the air passing through them from the front edges. Each fin 10 is furnished at its front edge 10a with a wing part 11 arranged as narrower gradually from the base part toward the forefront and generating vertical vortex in the passing air.
