COLUMNAR BODY AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING ENGAGEMENT CONDITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a columnar body capable of easily determining an engagement condition of a cylindrical part with a shaft part. SOLUTION: In the columnar body, a cylindrical part 1 is provided on an end part of one columnar body, a shaft part 3 is provided on an end part of the other columnar body, and the cylindrical part and the shaft part of the adjacent columnar bodies in the axial direction of the columnar body are fitted to each other so that the shaft part is inserted in the cylindrical part, and an engagement means 13 engages the cylindrical part with the shaft part in a locked condition through the fitting condition of the cylindrical part to the shaft part. A communication hole 15 to determine the engagement condition of the cylindrical part with the shaft part by the engagement means is opened in an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical part.
