PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise and to save water without increasing costs and without enlarging the entire equipment by selectively jetting the water from a plurality of washing nozzles by one washing pump by using a switching valve in a simple structure in a dishwasher for washing dishes by jetting the water pressurized by the washing pump from the plurality of washing nozzles. SOLUTION: The dishwasher is provided with the switching valve 17 in the middle of a water path connecting the washing pump and the plurality of washing nozzles. The switching valve 17 is provided with an entrance 19 for introducing the water pressurized by the washing pump, a plurality of exits 20 for leading out the introduced water to the plurality of washing nozzles, a water passing part 18 connecting the entrance 19 and the exits 20, and a closing member 21 for successively closing the exits 20 while being intermittently rotated inside the water passing part 18. The closing member 21 is reciprocated between the entrance 19 and the exits 20 and cam mechanisms 22 and 23 to be rotated by a predetermined angle in one direction in linkage with the reciprocation are provided.
