A pyrazole compound represented by the formula (a): (a) wherein R<1> represents C1-4 alkyl or trifluoromethyl, R<2> represents C1-4 alkyl, and R<3> represents hydrogen or C1-6 alkyl; R<4> represents halogeno, etc. and m is an integer of 0 to 4; R<5> represents halogeno, etc. and n is an integer of 0 to 4; R<6> and R<7> are the same or different and each represents hydrogen, halogeno, or methyl; and X represents oxygen or a group represented by R<8>O-N, wherein R<8> represents hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, etc. The compound is highly active in controlling harmful arthropods.
