PURPOSE: A method and a device for supporting customers through automatic information collection are provided to minimize user's inconvenience and enhance efficiency of a customer supporting business by making a customer supporting server automatically obtain the information for a PC environment of the user and recommend a supporting plan. CONSTITUTION: An information collecting component(11) collects environment information by reading a system registry of a user computer(10). An automatic analyzing component(21) receives the environment information from the information collecting component, and generates supporting plan information by comparing state of each parts included in the environment information with recommended environment information. A customer reception component(22) outputs the supporting plan information to the user.
