LCD FOR REDUCING PIXEL REJECT BY INSULATING COMMON ELECTRODES FROM PIXEL ELECTRODES, AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An LCD and a method for fabricating the same are provided to prevent the pixel reject caused by the electric connection between common electrodes and pixel electrodes by an insulating film. CONSTITUTION: An LCD includes a first transparent substrate(302) formed with thin film transistors(310) and pixel electrodes(330) electrically connected to the thin film transistors. A second substrate is formed with color filters(344), an organic film on the color filters, and common electrodes(348) on the organic film for facing the pixel electrodes. An insulating film(349) is formed on the common electrodes for insulating the pixel electrodes from the common electrodes.
