PURPOSE: An image display device is provided to appropriately correct the color and saturation of a video signal, correct the color temperature of a white signal with high accuracy, and mitigate deterioration of pixel quality of images having colors other than white. CONSTITUTION: An image display device includes a signal processing circuit having a color temperature correcting circuit(23) that corrects the color temperature of a white signal having luminance of more than a predetermined level and saturation of less than a predetermined level among input video signals. The signal processing circuit includes an analog-digital converter(14) for converting an input video signal into a digital signal, a matrix circuit(15) for converting the digital signal into a luminance signal and at least two color difference signals, a color processor(18) for obtaining a color signal from the color difference signals output from the matrix circuit, a saturation processor(21) for obtaining a saturation signal from the color difference signals, and a microcomputer(40).
