PURPOSE: A structure for mounting a decoration frame for an indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to easily mount a decoration frame at a step part formed at the edge of a front panel, thereby improving an external appearance of an indoor unit. CONSTITUTION: A front panel is installed at a front end of an external case where parts constructing a heat exchange cycle are installed, for forming a front of an indoor unit. A step part is formed at the edge of the front panel in step, has an insertion hole(70H) open toward a front of the front panel and a fixing groove(70L) opening in a direction orthogonal to an opening direction of the insertion hole. A decoration frame(85) is secured at the step part for shielding the step part, and forms the edge of the front panel. An insertion protrusion(89) and a fixing protrusion(89') are formed at the decoration frame to be secured at the insertion hole and the fixing groove respectively. |
