PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting and receiving a video signal by wireless is provided to transmit and receive the video signal, such as luminance(Y) and chrominance(Pb,Pr) signals, with a high image quality outputted from a PC by wireless. CONSTITUTION: A wireless transmission unit has the first to third transmission converting units and a synthesizer. The first to third transmission converting units receive Y, Pb and Pr signals, and convert the received Y, Pb and Pr signals into an IF(Intermediate Frequency) signal, respectively. The synthesizer synthesizes the output signals of the first to third transmission converting units, and outputs the synthesized signal through an antenna. A wireless reception unit(200) has an LNA(Low Noise Amplifier)(210), a divider(220), the first to third reception converting units(250-252), SAW(Surface Acoustic Wave) filters(280-282), video detecting units(290-292) and an audio detecting unit(293). The LNA amplifies a signal received from an antenna, and outputs the amplified signal. The divider divides the output signal of the LNA into 3 signals with the same phase, and outputs the 3 signals. The first to third reception converting units receive the 3 signals divided in the divider, and down-convert the received 3 signals, respectively. The SAW filters receive the output signals of the first to third reception converting units, and pass only a predetermined channel, respectively. The video detecting units receive the output signals of the SAW filters, detect a predetermined Y, Pb or Pr signal, and output the detected Y, Pb or Pr signal, respectively. The audio detecting unit receives the output signal of the video detecting unit, detects an audio signal, and outputs the detected audio signal. |
