Disclosed is a cutting machine used for laterally trimming vines or for trimming and topping, comprising one or several cutting bars (1), provided with an entire or partial leaf-removing device (10; 100) interacting with said cutting bar (1) in such a way that said machine can simultaneously or according to the degree of integration almost simultaneously carry out the trimming or the trimming and topping, whereby a specific number of leaves are removed in a predefined fruit-bearing area of the vines during different times of the year. The leaf-removing device comprises a turbine (10) which can directly or indirectly be connected to a hood (30; 130). Said hood is directly or indirectly connected to the base of the cutting bar by means of a pipe and can be vertically adjusted in a manual or automatic manner. The integrated leaf-removing device can be provided with a lateral positioning device. The inventive combination makes it possible to top vines and remove leaves in one operation under optimal conditions, particularly in terms of the quality of workmanship, ease of execution, and costs. |
