Microcapsules (XVIII)

摘要

Production of microcapsules comprises: (1) preparing an oil phase from an oil soluble active ingredient with a m.pt. of below 20 [deg]C and a wax with a m.pt. of above 20 [deg]C; (2) mixing the oil phase with an aqueous solution of a polymer P1 at a temperature above the m.pt. of the wax; and (3) cooling the resulting oil in water emulsion and contacting it with an aqueous solution of a polymer P2. Production of microcapsules with an average diameter of 0.0001-5 mm comprises: (1) preparing an oil phase from an oil soluble active ingredient with a m.pt. of below 20 [deg]C and a wax with a m.pt. of above 20 [deg]C; (2) mixing the oil phase with an aqueous solution of a polymer P1 at a temperature above the m.pt. of the wax; and (3) cooling the resulting oil in water emulsion and contacting it with an aqueous solution of a polymer P2, where one of P1 and P2 is anionic and the other is cationic. An independent claim is also included for microcapsules produced as above.
